Dehradun, 3 February : In the sensational robbery case in Dehradun’s Premnagar area, the involvement of three policemen among a total of nine accused has come to light. Taking swift action, the police have arrested all nine suspects and recovered the looted cash along with fake dollars. The incident was a well-planned conspiracy where victims were lured with the promise of cheap dollars and then robbed.

DGP Deepam Seth has adopted a zero-tolerance policy, making it clear that the law is equal for all, and no one is above it—be it a common person or a uniformed officer. Anyone found involved in crime will not be spared.

He has also ordered an inquiry into the lax supervision of the accused policemen by station-level and circle officers.
