Gordon Ramsay, the Michelin-starred chef renowned for his bold flavours and gourmet creations, has officially launched his first restaurant in India. The debut outlet, Gordon Ramsay Street Burger, has opened at Delhi Airport’s Terminal 1, offering travellers a unique culinary experience featuring signature gourmet burgers, seasoned fries, and soft drinks. The launch marks Ramsay’s first venture in the country and the start of an ambitious plan to bring his restaurant concepts to Indian airports.
Delhi Airport shared glimpses of the restaurant’s design and menu on its official Instagram, highlighting the vibrant and modern interiors. “Fresh. Fiery. First in India—@gordonramsaystreetburger now serving at T1, Delhi Airport,” the post read. The restaurant’s official handle responded enthusiastically: “Delhi! We are so happy to be here,” signaling excitement for the Indian debut.
The menu at Gordon Ramsay Street Burger promises a gourmet twist on classic favourites, with bold flavours in each burger, complemented by perfectly seasoned fries and refreshing soft drinks. The launch pictures revealed not just the food but also the stylish and contemporary design of the outlet, aiming to attract both frequent travellers and food enthusiasts.
Ramsay’s entry into India comes through a partnership with Travel Food Services, which will oversee the launch of six airport dining outlets across major hubs. The collaboration will bring multiple concepts to Indian travellers, including Gordon Ramsay Plane Food for pre-departure meals, Street Pizza for artisanal pizzas, Street Burger for gourmet burgers, and Gordon Ramsay Plane Food To-Go, offering quick, high-quality meals. This initiative aims to elevate the airport dining experience, combining convenience with Ramsay’s signature culinary flair.
Andy Wenlock, CEO of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, emphasized the brand’s vision for India: “Indian airports are the new stage for our culinary journey, and we are excited to see how travellers embrace these vibrant, flavour-intense dining experiences. The initiative aims to transform terminal dining into an exhilarating, top-tier gastronomic adventure.”
Following the Delhi launch, plans are already underway to expand the brand to Mumbai and other major Indian airports.
