Mahakumbh Nagar, January 8 : Preparations for the grand Mahakumbh in Prayagraj are nearing completion. Prioritizing the safety and health of devotees and travelers, the double-engine government has designated Mahakumbh 2025 as a ‘swasth’ and ‘surakshit’ Mahakumbh.

In line with this vision, Indian Railways has established over 30 first aid booths at stations across the Prayagraj Railway Division. This initiative aims to ensure convenience for devotees and provide prompt medical assistance in emergencies.

Keeping in mind the Mahakumbh 2025, first aid booths have been set up at almost all the stations of Prayagraj Railway Division. Quick health facilities can be provided to the devotees coming to Maha Kumbh in case of any kind of emergency and health issues.

Firrst aid booths have been set up at Prayagraj Junction, Naini Junction, Phaphamau, Prayag Junction, Jhunsi, Rambagh, Chhivki, Prayagraj Sangam and Subedarganj Railway Station etc. As per the requirement, 14 booths have been set up at Prayagraj Junction, 03 at Naini station, 03 at Chhivki and 02 at Subedarganj station. Apart from this, one each has been set up in Vindhyachal, Sangam Camp area of ​​Prayagraj Railway Division, 03 booths at Prayag station, 01 first aid booth at Phaphamau station. Along with this, one booth each has been set up at Ayodhya Dham, Ayodhya Cantt and Kashi station.

Talking about the first aid booths, Amit Malviya, Senior PRO of Prayagraj Railway Division, stated that trained medical personnel will be stationed at all the first aid booths throughout the fair. Additionally, emergency medical equipment and medicines will be available at these booths. A quick referral facility has also been set up for serious cases to ensure timely medical attention.

A special first aid booth has been set up in the Sangam area, where lakhs of devotees gather for snan and worship. This booth is fully equipped for crowd management and emergency medical assistance.

Additionally, the railway administration, in collaboration with the Health department, has established health facility booths to raise awareness about health among the devotees of Mahakumbh. Furthermore, the railway has issued a helpline number, 139, to assist in emergency situations.
