भदोही : Bhadohi, June 23 : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a comprehensive review of development projects, revenue administration, and law and order in Bhadohi district during a meeting at the Collectorate auditorium on Monday. He issued key directives to ensure effective implementation of government initiatives and public welfare schemes.
Commending Bhadohi for securing the top position in Uttar Pradesh under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, CM Yogi urged the district administration to make Bhadohi TB-free by November 2025. He encouraged public representatives, officials, employees, and teachers to adopt one TB patient each and support them through 'Poshan Potli' to ensure

The Chief Minister also inspected the under-construction 100-bed joint hospital, 50-bed critical care block, and Hemodialysis unit, emphasizing timely and high-quality completion of the works. During his visit, he interacted with patients, including Shyam Prasad Pandey, Ramkrishna Mishra, Hariram, and Sunil Shukla, and inquired about the healthcare services being provided. Patients confirmed that all necessary treatments were free of cost. Upon request, the CM immediately approved the appointment of a nephrologist, reaffirming the government’s commitment to providing robust healthcare facilities.
In the education sector, the Chief Minister enquired the BSA about the number of schools lacking teachers and those with less than 25 students. The BSA reported that only 13 schools had fewer than 50 students. CM Yogi emphasized the importance of utilizing DBT funds sent to parents for purchasing uniforms, bags, and other essentials. He directed schools to organise teacher-parent interactions to ensure children are equipped and encouraged to maintain regular attendance, to reduce the student dropout rate to zero.
As part of the upcoming massive plantation drive in July, the DFO informed that the district has set a target to plant 12.59 lakh saplings, with the Forest Department responsible for 3 lakh of them. The Chief Minister urged public representatives to actively participate in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. Under the One District, One River Rejuvenation initiative, he stressed on Shramdaan for the rejuvenation of Morwa and Varuna rivers and planting saplings along riverbanks. He directed the Irrigation Department to channelize rivers and the Minor Irrigation Department to construct check dams for better water conservation.
CM Yogi instructed the district administration to promote the Carpet Expo Mart more widely and to coordinate with CEPC and other stakeholders to develop proposals for expanding its reach. During the review of the Revenue Department, he emphasized the need to resolve long-pending cases, especially those older than five years, in a fair and time-bound manner. He insisted that no injustice be done to the poor and, in cases of encroachment, rehabilitation arrangements be made before initiating action.
Regarding electricity supply, the Chief Minister directed the Electricity Department to ensure swift replacement of burnt transformers and promote use of the toll-free helpline 1912 for quick grievance redressal in both rural and urban areas.

CM Yogi emphasised that beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri and Mukhyamantri Urban and Rural Housing Schemes should be guided to fully construct their homes using the instalment-based financial assistance provided to them.
He emphasised the importance of establishing market linkages for products produced by women's self-help groups and ensuring timely honorariums for women involved in community toilet operations.
The Chief Minister instructed that all eligible persons be covered under old age, widow, and disability pension schemes, and that facilities like income, caste, and residence certificates be made available at the village level through Sahaj Jan Seva Kendras.
He also emphasised the importance of providing clean drinking water to rural households under the Jal Jeevan Mission, instructing that pipeline installation must not involve road cutting to prevent unnecessary damage to infrastructure.
During the review of the Bhadohi Industrial Development Authority (BIDA), the Chief Minister called for the creation of a land bank to facilitate future industrial expansion. He warned against unplanned and unscientific development, stressing the need for well-planned industrial zones.
CM Yogi also emphasized the development of 2-lane and 4-lane roads for improved connectivity. He directed officials to immediately prepare and submit a proposal to restart ethanol production at the closed sugar mill in Aurai, thereby generating employment opportunities in the region.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to prioritise and resolve matters related to departments such as the police, CMO, DIOS, and BSA based on merit. He directed that during Janata Darshan, proper assistance should be provided to villagers in drafting applications, and that female complainants should be attended to by female staff to facilitate respectful and sensitive dialogue.
CM Yogi urged officers to work compassionately and responsively, maintaining cordial relations with public representatives and ensuring the concerns of citizens are addressed with seriousness and urgency.
CM Yogi stressed the need to strengthen law and order by creating a ‘Top-10 Criminal List’ in the district. He directed strict action against land, mining, and forest mafias, as well as criminal gangs, and ordered rigorous monitoring of FIR registration and investigation under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police and Assistant Superintendent of Police.
In coordination with the District Judge, effective and prompt prosecution was directed in cases related to POCSO Act, crimes against women, and other sensitive matters, to ensure swift justice and instill a sense of fear of the law among criminals.
He emphasized fixing accountability of police stations in cases of cattle smuggling, and called for immediate action on incidents related to love jihad and forced religious conversions.
With upcoming religious events, CM Yogi instructed for tight security arrangements during Muharram and encouraged the Kanwar Yatra to be celebrated traditionally and peacefully.
