 Lucknow : Lucknow, 17th July : On Wednesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the preparations for the holy Kanwar Yatra, which begins on July 22, and provided necessary guidelines. The meeting was attended by ministers of water, power, urban development, and energy, along with the PWD minister and state ministers.
● Directing the PWD, Irrigation and Urban Development Department, he said that the remaining repairing works of roads across districts falling in the Kanwar Yatra route should be completed in the next 72 hours.
● The Chief Minister said that the entire Kanwar Yatra route should be kept clean throughout the month of-CM Yogi directs officials to maintain cleanliness, ensurte better lighting and set up assistance camps along Kanwar Yatra route
-Govt to welcome Kanwariyas with a shower of flowers, arrangements will be made for drinking water and shikanji along the route
-Chief Minister instructs officials to verify credentials of those operating Kanwar camps, ensure monitoring of Yatra by drones
-Play DJ as per prescribed specifications, height of the DJ should not exceed the limit: Chief Minister
-Officials should check the arrangements in Shiva temples in urban areas, strong arrangements for crowd management must be ensured
-Stop the flow of dead animals in Ganga canal immediately: Chief Minister Sawan. There should be no dirt or waterlogging anywhere. Ensure solid waste management, as well as good lighting on the entire Kanwar Yatra route. For this, additional street lights should be installed and arrangement made for transformers.
● The Chief Minister said that respecting the faith of the devotees, it would be appropriate to set up assistance camps for the help of the general public along the Yatra route. Arrangements should also be made for distribution of cold drinking water, shikanji etc. Take help of social organizations in setting up of camps, but verify the credentials of those operating it. The Yatra route should be monitored using drones, and flowers should be showered on devotees on important occasions.
● The Chief Minister said that DJ should be played by Kanwariyas as per the prescribed standards and the height of the DJ must not exceed the set limit.
● The Chief Minister said that a large number of devotees visit Shiva temples in urban areas of Ghaziabad, Meerut, Bareilly, Ayodhya, Basti, Prayagraj, Kashi, Barabanki etc. The local administration should manage the crowd in Shiva temples by communicating with the temple management.
● The Chief Minister mentioned receiving reports of dead animals flowing in the Ganga canal and instructed officials to ensure that it stops immediately. |
