Grammy-nominated rapper and global hip-hop star Wiz Khalifa is all set to return to India this November for his third performance, this time as a headliner for the debut edition of Rolling Loud India. The much-anticipated festival will be held in Mumbai on November 22 and 23, marking the Indian chapter of the world’s biggest hip-hop event.
The Pittsburgh-born rapper first visited India in 2017, where he made his debut appearance before returning again in 2019. Ahead of his first-ever show, Wiz expressed curiosity about the Indian music scene, saying, “I am always open to working with dope artists no matter where they are from. I listen to every kind of music. I don’t have any favorites but I love a diverse playlist. I’ve heard a lot about Bollywood. I don’t know a ton about it but it looks dope!” He also emphasized that every performance depends on the fans: “Every show is about the people. I will know once I’m there what the fans want to see and then bring it!”
For the 2025 edition of Rolling Loud India, Wiz will share the spotlight with UK rap sensation Central Cee, who recently topped charts with Which One, his collaboration with Drake. Together, they will headline the festival’s opening day with Wiz set to perform his biggest hits including Black and Yellow, See You Again, and Young, Wild & Free. Joining them on Day 1 will be a star-studded lineup featuring DaBaby, Swae Lee, Hanumankind, Denzel Curry, Gurinder Gill, and Meba Ofilia, promising Indian fans a power-packed celebration of hip-hop.
Day 2 (November 23) will showcase another milestone moment—Punjabi superstar Karan Aujla’s headline performance. Known for reshaping the Punjabi music landscape, Aujla will be joined by American rapper Don Toliver, who is expected to perform his viral hits No Idea, Lemonade, and Private Landing. Mumbai’s very own hip-hop heavyweight DIVINE will also hit the stage, presenting his brand-new album Walking on Water live for the first time. Other notable acts across the two days include NAV, Ski Mask The Slump God, Sheck Wes, Westside Gunn, and several rising Indian and international artists.
With its massive global reputation, Rolling Loud’s arrival in India is being hailed as a landmark moment for the country’s growing hip-hop scene—and Wiz Khalifa’s return promises to make it unforgettable. |
