Even the past editions generating over ₹10,000 crore in business turnover and attracting 350+ international buyers from more than 60 countries, the platform demonstrates Uttar Pradesh’s capacity to translate education and research into economic impact.

UPITS serves as a hub where Uttar Pradesh’s universities, research labs, and startups showcase cutting-edge innovation. AKTU-led incubators have supported 330+ startups, with 120 commercialized and 80 patents filed, backed by a ₹100 crore Innovation Fund and a Hub & Spoke incubation model that provides mentorship and funding support. The Trade shows reinforced UP’s capacity to transform academic research into entrepreneurial ventures, market-ready technologies, and employment opportunities on an international scale.

Over 500+ workshops, seminars, and knowledge-sharing sessions have been conducted in past editions, connecting students, faculty, and industry professionals with global partners, edtech companies, vocational training providers, and skill development programs demonstrate scalable solutions, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry-ready skills. Startup participants have leveraged the platform to secure funding, mentorship, and international partnerships, while skill providers connect with global employers to expand placement opportunities. Even specialized sessions in AI, digital skills, biotech, and STEM innovations provided students and trainees exposure to global trends.
