New Delhi | July 17, 2025 : Popular actor Vijay Deverakonda has been hospitalised after being diagnosed with dengue, just weeks before the release of his much-anticipated film, Kingdom. Sources close to the actor confirmed that he is currently receiving medical care and is expected to be discharged soon.

Deverakonda, known for his dedicated work ethic and high-energy roles, reportedly began feeling unwell a few days ago. After experiencing persistent symptoms, he was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad where doctors confirmed the dengue diagnosis.
