In a candid interview with The Lallantop, Tamannaah took the opportunity to set the record straight on stories that, while baseless, managed to capture public imagination and tabloid space for years.

On Abdul Razzaq Marriage Rumours
Tamannaah recalled how a single photograph with Abdul Razzaq at a jewellery store event back in 2020 spiraled into full-blown gossip about her being secretly married to the cricketer. Laughing at the absurdity, she said:

“Mazaak mazaak mein Abdul Razzaq! The Internet is a fun place. According to the internet, I was briefly married to Abdul Razzaq. I’m sorry sir. Aapke do-teen bachche hain (You have 2–3 kids). I don’t know about your life, but it was so embarrassing.”

The actress clarified that the event was purely professional and that the story gained traction purely due to an out-of-context image.

Tamannaah also cleared the air about rumours linking her to Virat Kohli. The speculation surfaced after the two shared screen space in a commercial.

“I feel so bad because I literally met him for only one day. I have never met Virat after the shoot. Na maine unse baat ki, na unse mili hoon (I neither spoke to him nor met him afterward).”

Her clarification shuts down years of fan theories and media-driven stories that connected the dots based purely on a commercial appearance.

“It is very awkward when the media links you to someone you have absolutely no connection with.”
