Greater Noida, September 23 : Uttar Pradesh's growing skill capacity and innovation are set to shine on the global stage at the UP International Trade Show 2.0, taking place from September 25 to 29, 2024, at the India Expo Center & Mart in Greater Noida.

A special pavilion has been created to highlight the achievements of ITIs and the UP Skill Development Mission, featuring live demonstrations of nine specific skills from the Department of Vocational Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship.

The primary goal of this event is to establish Uttar Pradesh as a global sourcing hub, showcasing the activities and achievements across key sectors related to skills, talent, employment, and entrepreneurship. This initiative aims to provide a new impetus for the economic and industrial development of Uttar Pradesh, offering the state's youth a valuable opportunity to make their mark on the international stage.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, Kapil Dev Aggarwal, stated that the Yogi government is committed to creating new employment opportunities for the youth of Uttar Pradesh. “Under the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, numerous specialized training programs are being implemented to ensure that our youth can compete on an international level. A dedicated pavilion has been established at the UP International Trade Show to showcase the achievements of ITIs and the UP Skill Development Mission, featuring live demonstrations of nine specific skills. This will provide visitors with in-depth information about the state's emerging skills and training programs.”

He emphasized that this event serves not only as a platform for showcasing the talents of Uttar Pradesh’s youth on a global stage but also as a unique opportunity for them to present their skills to the world. “Through this initiative, we are continuously working to highlight the state's talent and connect it with global employment opportunities.”
