New Delhi | July 14, 2025 : Indian badminton icon Saina Nehwal, an Olympic bronze medalist and former world number one, has announced her separation from her husband, Parupalli Kashyap, after nearly seven years of marriage. The news came through a heartfelt Instagram post shared by Nehwal on Sunday, July 13, 2025.

In her post, Nehwal wrote, “Life takes us in different directions sometimes. After much thought and consideration, Kashyap and I have decided to part ways. We’re choosing peace, growth, and healing — for ourselves and each other. I’m grateful for the memories and wish nothing but the best moving forward.
