Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the Department of Justice at his official residence on Thursday and observed the presentation. During this, he said that speedy disposal of pending cases of government departments in various courts of the state is very necessary. This affects the work of the departments.

“In view of this, in addition to government advocates, create a panel of expert advocates and appoint them for effective lobbying in the courts. Also, fix a fee for these advocates,” the CM added.

complexes are being developed in 10 districts, including Mahoba, Hathras, Chandauli, Shamli, Amethi, Hapur, Auraiya, Sonbhadra, Sambhal, and Chitrakoot, to facilitate the judicial process. In these districts where land has been acquired, the construction of the buildings should start soon. Also, speed up the process of land acquisition in the districts where land has not been acquired yet, the CM gave instructions.

Yogi Adityanath said that the corpus fund of Rs 220 crore meant for the Advocates Welfare Fund should be increased to Rs 500 crore. The families of advocates who pass away unexpectedly will receive financial support from this fund. He said that proper parking arrangements should be made in all courts. Also, take special care of the security of the courts. Speed ​​up the work of digitization of courts to make the vision of e-courts a reality.

The Chief Minister said that a strong judicial system is the basis of good governance. In view of this, encourage Gram Nyayalayas. It should be our priority to get affordable, simple, accessible, and quick justice to the common man at the Tehsil level only.

Yogi Adityanath said that the online portal http://UPNOMS.UP.GOV.IN was launched in the month of January this year for the appointment of notary advocates and renewal of their certificates. Through this, a large number of applications have been received for the newly created 2500 posts of notaries. Proceed with the process of appointing notary advocates with complete transparency on the basis of merit.
