Firozabad : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that clear vision and effective leadership are a must for development. The CM said that the government has ample funds for the development of the state, adding that prior to 2014, the "failed engines of Congress Party and Samajwadi Party were hindering Uttar Pradesh's progress."
"However, with the double-engine government, development is taking place at twice the speed and with triple engine the pace of development would increase three times", Yogi said, urging voters to elect BJP candidates to add the third engine to the double engine government to ensure effective use of funds

allocated by the central and state governments for developmental works.
On the third day of the municipal election campaign, CM Yogi addressed a public meeting at Tilak Inter College. He noted that terror is gone from cities of Uttar Pradesh and they are now recognized as safe cities. The cities in UP are transforming into smart cities and shedding their previous reputation as garbage dumps, he added.
*One crore youth of the state will get jobs*
CM Yogi said that glory is getting restored to the 'Ccity of Glass' (Firozabad). The city has undergone expansion under the city creation scheme, and a new Nagar Panchayat called Makhanpur has been created. Additionally, five projects worth Rs 323 crore have been approved for the city under the AMRUT mission, which aims to provide basic infrastructure services in urban areas.
One of these projects is the Har Ghar Nal project, which provides clean drinking water to 14,000 households at Rs 27 crore.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister stated that the city had received investment proposals worth thousands of crores through the Global Investors Summit, which has received investment proposals worth Rs 35 lakh crore. These proposals can create job opportunities for over one crore youth in Uttar Pradesh.
CM Yogi praised the National Education Policy (NEP) introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This policy could combine the talent of India and Uttar Pradesh with technology and training, which could provide job opportunities at the local level.
CM Yogi further stated that the government had made efforts to provide housing to the poor. Before 2017, the land and houses of the poor were taken over, but now houses are being given to them. He also highlighted the PM Swanidhi Yojana, which provides interest-free loans to street vendors and traders, replacing the earlier practice of collecting extortion from them.
*Before 2014, the country was facing an identity crisis*
"Before 2014, the country faced an identity crisis, with corruption at its peak and the youth feeling upset. India's respect as a country was declining globally. Development was limited to the Five-Year Plans. PM Modi has established a new India and presented a picture of one India and the best India. India is now being recognized for its talent, technology, and training, and the world community looks towards India in times of crisis. There is no longer a focus on appeasement in the new India but rather on empowering its citizens. This has led to improvements in areas such as sanitation, housing, and access to food", CM Yogi remarked further.
CM Yogi said that there was a time when members of a political party roamed around with guns and today the youths were being given tabs and smartphones.
