Lakshadweep Schools Receive 100 Robotics Kits to Enhance STEM Education

In a significant move to bolster STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education, the Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) has distributed 100 robotics kits to schools across Lakshadweep. The initiative aims to provide hands-on learning experiences for Class 10 students following the Kerala curriculum. Each robotics kit is designed to facilitate practical and simplified learning, with one kit allocated for every three students. This approach is intended to promote collaborative learning and enhance students' understanding of robotics and related technologies. To support the effective use of these kits, KITE has also launched a five-day training program for high school Information and Communication Technology (ICT) teachers and District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) faculty from Lakshadweep. The training is designed to equip educators with the necessary skills to integrate robotics into their teaching methodologies. This initiative is part of a broader effort to bridge the digital divide and provide quality education to students in remote areas.
