Lucknow, December 21 : In line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision to inspire nationalism in future generations, Rashtriya Prerna Sthal has been developed in Lucknow as a unique center to ignite the patriotic spirit across the country. On December 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil the majestic bronze statues of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, icons of India’s freedom struggle and nationalism.

Commissioned by the State Lalit Kala Akademi at a cost of ₹21 crore, the statues stand 65 feet tall and weigh 32 tons, crafted from 85% copper and 5% each of lead, tin, and zinc.

The statue of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya was created by Ram Sutar Art Creations Pvt. Ltd, makers of the Statue of Unity, while the statues of Dr. Mukherjee and Atal Bihari Vajpayee were completed by Matu Ram Arts Pvt. Ltd. Enhanced with facade lighting, projection mapping, and fountains, the statues’ appearance dynamically changes over time, adding to their visual grandeur.

Spread across a 65-acre site in Vasant Kunj, the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal also features a museum with five galleries showcasing the heroes’ lives through videos, audio, photographs, personal belongings, biographies, and silicone figures.

Facade lighting and projection mapping were also used to beautify these statues. Water fountains and a stage have been constructed around the statues. This site will not only be a center of attraction for tourists but also an ideal educational destination for school and college students.
