ESIC Expands Healthcare Network with Seven New Projects

Lucknow, 13 Jul, 2026 07:58 AMNew Delhi, July 12, 2026 Strengthening healthcare access for insured workers remains a key priority as the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) continues to expand its medical infrastructure across India. In a major step toward improving healthcare services, Union Minister for Labour and Employment Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will inaugurate seven ESI healthcare projects from the ESIC Hospital in Sanathnagar, Telangana, on July 14, 2026. During the event, Dr. Mandaviya will formally inaugurate the hospital's newly constructed OPD block at Sanathnagar and virtually launch six additional projects. These include the upgraded 200-bed ESIC Hospital at Beltola in Assam, a 100-bed ESIC Hospital at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu, an ESIC Hospital at Rajamahendravaram in Andhra Pradesh, an ESI Dispensary-cum-Branch Office at Surendranagar in Gujarat, another ESI Dispensary-cum-Branch Office at Udyog Nagar in Kota, and an ESI Dispensary at Bhawani Mandi in Rajasthan. Built at an estimated cost of around ₹668 crore, these healthcare facilities are expected to cater to the medical needs of nearly 5.3 million beneficiaries across the country. Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Shobha Karandlaje will also attend the programme. As part of the event, Dr. Mandaviya will honour construction workers who contributed to the development of the OPD block at the Sanathnagar ESIC Hospital, acknowledging their role in nation-building. He will also distribute cash benefits to ESI beneficiaries, highlighting the government's continued focus on strengthening welfare and healthcare support for insured workers.
