Hanuman Ansh Surges Into 2026’s Top Hindi Hits

New Delhi, September 18, 2026 Hanuman Ansh has turned into a remarkable box-office success, maintaining its momentum even in its sixth week of release. The spiritual drama has crossed the ₹300 crore mark worldwide, taking its global total to ₹309.15 crore. Its Wednesday earnings stood at ₹6.25 crore, according to Sacnilk, while the film’s India nett collection has reached ₹243.38 crore and its India gross stands at ₹287.40 crore. The film’s performance is particularly notable considering its ₹1.75 crore production budget. With its current worldwide earnings, Hanuman Ansh has earned around 150 times its reported budget. The strong run has also pushed the film to the third position among the highest-grossing Hindi releases of 2026, with Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2 ahead of it. Its theatrical journey, however, began with considerable competition. The arrival of Batwara 1947 and Awarapan 2 resulted in the film’s screen count falling to only 25. As Batwara 1947 failed to deliver the expected box-office performance, Hanuman Ansh began receiving more screens. The renewed theatrical presence, combined with increasing audience interest, helped the film build stronger footfall and sustain its collections. Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh presents a retelling of the life of Uttarakhand’s revered saint Baba Neem Karoli, born Lakshman Narayan Sharma. The narrative follows a grieving young Lakshmi Narayan after the death of his mother as he begins a spiritual journey across North India in search of answers about life, death and human suffering. His quest eventually leads to his transformation into Neem Karoli Baba, whose teachings centred on love, service and compassion. Shobhinaw Satya plays the lead role, with Vihaan Shedge, Chandan K Anand, Purnima Tiwari, Anil Rastogi, Gulshan Pandey and Bhagvandas Patel also featuring in the cast. With its latest milestone, the film continues to demonstrate the sustained theatrical pull it has developed weeks after its release.
