CM Yogi Adityanath Advises Children to Read Books and Limit Social Media Use During ‘Janata Darshan’

Lucknow | 9 March 2026 Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath interacted with citizens from across Uttar Pradesh during the weekly “Janata Darshan” held at his official residence in Lucknow on Monday. People from different districts visited the program to share their concerns directly with the Chief Minister. During the interaction, he personally met several families and listened carefully to their problems, assuring them that the government is committed to resolving genuine issues. During the event, many children accompanied their parents. Speaking to them warmly, the Chief Minister encouraged them to focus more on reading books and learning. He also suggested that children should reduce the excessive use of mobile phones and digital devices. To make the interaction pleasant, the Chief Minister also distributed chocolates to the children who attended the program. While interacting with the public, the Chief Minister personally collected written requests from people and assured them that their concerns would be addressed. He directed district administrative officials and police authorities to ensure that every complaint is resolved within a fixed time frame. Emphasizing accountability, he instructed officials to act promptly and avoid unnecessary delays in addressing citizens’ issues. Several entrepreneurs also met the Chief Minister during the event to discuss business-related challenges. Taking their requests seriously, he instructed departments such as the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority and district administration to resolve their concerns quickly. He emphasized that the state has created a strong investment environment and said that delays in industrial development would not be tolerated. The Chief Minister also reviewed complaints related to police action, family disputes, and illegal land encroachment, directing officials to take strict action wherever required.
