Old AAP Posts Raise Questions Over Dipke’s Political Claims
YUGVARTA NEWS
Lucknow, 12 Aug, 2026 09:51 PMNew Delhi, August 12, 2026 Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), is facing renewed questions over his political background after old social media posts resurfaced, pointing to an association with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Dipke has projected himself as a politically independent youth leader who entered public advocacy over concerns surrounding education reforms and the alleged NEET examination paper leak. However, the resurfaced posts appear to present a different picture of his earlier political connections. The controversy centres on Dipke’s alleged association with AAP before the period he reportedly mentioned during a News24 interview. While he claimed an association with the party between 2020 and 2023, viral posts indicate that his links with AAP may date back to at least 2018. The old digital trail has therefore raised questions about his portrayal of himself as an independent voice without political backing. One of the key pieces of evidence being circulated is an X post by Aarti Chadha from March 12, 2018. The post featured Chadha alongside Dipke and tagged his then social media handle, @aaptimist_. The handle was reportedly used by Dipke until 2020. Chadha, who was identified as a member of AAP’s social media team, praised Dipke for travelling from Pune to Mumbai after appearing for an examination to join farmers at Azad Maidan. She wrote: “This boy @aaptimist_ gave his Exam, Rushed from Pune to be with Farmers in Mumbai & going to Spend the night at Azad Maidan. That’s the kind of Selfless, Passionate Youth associated to AAP. That’s why I see an Arvind Kejriwal in all supporters !!” The connection was highlighted again years later when Chadha posted a birthday message for Dipke in 2024 and tagged his newer social media account. While recalling his contribution to AAP’s digital presence, she wrote: “Happy Birthday Dude @abhijeet_dipke One who worked tirelessly behind the scenes & added the Missing Zing to AAP SM Rise & Shine.” Dipke responded by thanking her, adding another public interaction between the two to the digital record. The resurfacing of these posts has consequently brought greater attention to Dipke’s political past and the claims surrounding his independence from established political parties. As the CJP founder continues to remain in the public spotlight, the old posts have opened a fresh debate over the timeline and nature of his association with AAP.
