The reopening of Kedarnath Temple marks the beginning of a deeply spiritual season, symbolizing devotion, tradition, and collective faith. As the Char Dham Yatra resumes, it reflects the enduring connection between faith and cultural heritage in India.


The temple doors were opened on April 22 after the winter closure, following traditional rituals, allowing devotees to once again visit the revered shrine. Thousands of pilgrims have started arriving, marking the formal commencement of the Char Dham Yatra, one of the most significant religious pilgrimages in the country.


Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings to devotees and described the yatra as a "divine celebration of our faith, unity, and rich traditions." He highlighted the spiritual importance of this journey, emphasizing how it reflects India’s timeless values and cultural depth.
