Sharing her experience on social media, CM Gupta described PM Modi as “the world’s most popular leader and India’s illustrious Prime Minister,” and expressed gratitude for his time and guidance. She said the meeting inspired renewed energy and determination to serve Delhi with greater dedication. The Chief Minister was accompanied by family members and took group photographs with the Prime Minister during the visit. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi exchanged Diwali greetings with President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The President wished citizens a safe, responsible, and environmentally friendly celebration. Continuing his festive tradition, PM Modi spent Diwali aboard INS Vikrant, India’s indigenously built aircraft carrier, off the coast of Goa and Karwar, interacting with naval personnel and acknowledging their service to the nation. On the occasion of Police Commemoration Day, CM Gupta also paid tribute to police personnel who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. She described them as exemplars of dedication, discipline, and courage, noting that their loyalty and devotion would continue to inspire future generations. The Chief Minister reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to the Yamuna River’s cleanliness. Sharing a video on social media, she highlighted ongoing initiatives to restore the river to a clean, healthy, and free-flowing state under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi. “Every effort is part of this resolve to revive the river’s life-giving form,” she stated. CM Gupta also visited Vasudev Ghat near Kashmiri Gate to inspect preparations for the upcoming Chhath Mahaparv. She reviewed measures related to cleanliness, lighting, levelling, security, and amenities for devotees. Officials were instructed to upgrade facilities to ensure a safer and more organized celebration. Delhi Development and Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra accompanied her during the inspection. In her address, the Chief Minister emphasized her government’s commitment to ensuring that festivals in Delhi, including Diwali and Chhath, are celebrated in a grand, secure, and well-managed manner. She acknowledged the combined efforts of civic officials, police, and local authorities in maintaining public safety and enhancing infrastructure. Through these initiatives, CM Gupta underscored the importance of citizen participation, community engagement, and environmental consciousness during major celebrations.
