Two prominent schools in Delhi were put on high alert on Monday after receiving bomb threat emails, prompting swift action by security agencies. The schools affected were Army Public School and Air Force Bal Bharti School, creating concern among parents and staff early in the day.

Soon after the alerts, teams from Delhi Police, along with the bomb disposal squad, dog squad, and fire services, reached the campuses. As a safety step, both school premises were vacated while a detailed search operation was launched to rule out any danger.

A senior police officer said, “We are verifying the source of the email. So far, nothing suspicious has been found. As a precautionary measure, a thorough search operation is underway on the school premises, which has been vacated,” while speaking to news agency. The schools had informed authorities immediately after receiving emails claiming that explosives had been planted on campus.
