Amit Shah Slams Rahul Gandhi Over Protest at Global AI Summit in Delhi
YUGVARTA NEWS
Lucknow, 15 Mar, 2026 08:38 PMUnion Home Minister Amit Shah strongly criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi while speaking about a protest that allegedly took place during a major international AI summit in New Delhi. Shah said the event was one of the largest global gatherings on artificial intelligence and was organised to showcase India’s technological progress and investment potential. According to Shah, the summit saw participation from top CEOs of companies from various countries and heads of state from 22 nations. He said several agreements were signed during the event related to training, research and development, and industrial collaboration, making it one of the most successful AI summits ever organised. Criticising the opposition, Shah alleged that the Congress party tried to damage India’s image at an international platform. Adding that such behaviour was inappropriate at an event where global leaders and investors had gathered to observe India’s preparations and growth. He further targeted Rahul Gandhi, saying " Ap Narendra Modi ka virodh karte karte bhajpa ka virodh karte karte, bharat ka virodh kar bethe ho". Shah added that political protests have their place, but using an international forum meant for showcasing India’s development for political demonstrations sends the wrong message about the country.
