According to reports, a family travelling from Dadri to Kithore was following directions through Google Maps when their car reportedly moved onto an incorrect route near the Preet Vihar railway underpass area in Hapur. The vehicle eventually entered a water-filled drain, leaving all four family members stranded inside. The family remained trapped for nearly two hours before help arrived. Rescue teams reached the location after receiving information and carried out an operation to safely evacuate everyone from the vehicle. The car was later recovered, and no injuries were reported during the incident.
