CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Highlights Cultural Revival Under PM Modi, Says India Moving Towards Global Spiritual Leadership

Lucknow, 5 Feb, 2026 09:30 PMUttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is witnessing an unprecedented cultural and spiritual revival. He stated that with a balanced blend of modern progress and freedom, Sanatan culture is being re-established across the country, preparing India to once again guide the world as a global spiritual leader. The Chief Minister pointed to major religious and heritage projects that symbolise this transformation. He mentioned the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the redevelopment of Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand, the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, and the construction of Mahakal Lok as powerful examples of Sanatan heritage gaining renewed strength and visibility across the nation. Dhami said the Uttarakhand government is continuously working to develop Devbhoomi as the spiritual capital of the world. Efforts are underway for the beautification of regions such as Kedarkhand and Manaskhand, along with revival projects in areas like Haridwar and Kalsi. He also highlighted ongoing work on the Ganga Corridor in Rishikesh and Haridwar, as well as the Sharda Corridor along the banks of the Sharda river. He further said that to help future generations understand and live by the values of Sanatan Hindu philosophy, the state has established a Centre for Hindu Studies at Doon University in Dehradun. According to the Chief Minister, these initiatives reflect a long-term vision to preserve India’s spiritual roots while guiding society with cultural wisdom.
