CM Yogi Honours Natural Farming Champions, Distributes Benefits Under Multiple Welfare Schemes in Unnao

Lucknow/Unnao, June 18: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday honoured farmers for their outstanding contribution to natural farming and distributed benefits to beneficiaries under various government welfare schemes, reaffirming the state government’s commitment towards agricultural growth, rural development, and public welfare.

During the programme, the Chief Minister felicitated several farmers who have demonstrated exemplary work in promoting natural farming practices, encouraging sustainable and environment-friendly agriculture in the state.

Among those honoured for excellence in natural farming were Chhotelal (Paigupur), Rajesh Kumar Tripathi (Shivrajpur), Ashish Kumar (Kalyanpur), Sunil Singh Katiyar (Bilhaur), and Phool Singh Yadav (Jhinjhak).

On the occasion, CM Yogi also distributed benefits under farmer welfare schemes. Dinesh Kumar and Uma Singh were each provided cheques worth ₹5 lakh under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana, while Vipin Shukla and Ashish Kumar received Shree Anna Mini-Kits aimed at promoting nutritious millet cultivation.

Later in Unnao, the Chief Minister extended benefits under multiple flagship development schemes by distributing approval letters, cheques, appointment letters, smartphones, housing keys, and welfare certificates to beneficiaries.

Under the Chief Minister Farmer Accident Welfare Scheme, Parvati and Sonu received financial assistance of ₹5 lakh each.

Beneficiaries Neha Gupta and Ramakanti were handed approval letters under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0, while Jagannath and Manoj Savita received sanction certificates under PM SVANidhi Scheme.

Under the Child Development Services and Nutrition Scheme, Renu Gautam and Karmavati were provided smartphones, while Shashiprabha and Moni were given appointment letters as Anganwadi Assistants.

The Chief Minister also distributed approval letters under the Panchayat Welfare Fund to Kalicharan, while Aman Kumar received a cheque of ₹5 lakh and Abhishek Kumar received ₹2.50 lakh under the Chief Minister Young Entrepreneur Development Campaign, aimed at promoting self-employment opportunities among youth.

Under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme (Rural), beneficiaries Rekha and Maiki were handed house keys. Additionally, Manoj Savita and Rani received a cheque of ₹4.95 crore under the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission.

Further, Raju Nirmal and Parshuram were provided certificates under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana, Ankita received approval for Divyangjan Pension, while Leela and Bharti were given Ayushman Bharat Cards.

The event reflected the Uttar Pradesh government’s continued focus on strengthening the rural economy, empowering farmers, supporting entrepreneurship, and ensuring the benefits of welfare schemes reach every eligible citizen.
